    1. As a school head, when we interact with students at various level we understand their learning needs, learning styles and gaps in learning provided to them. In collaboration with teachers, the school head can plan and restructure the teaching learning strategy to achieve the expected learning outcomes.

Plan , do , check and act method work appropriately, plan of leader should be such a way that it should benefit to each and every one of the school. Principal' s interaction with students motivate them , some students are taking prinicpal's words so seriously they are changing themselves totally. Hence leader's proper futureistic plan help to understand the influence of school leadership on student learning in your school?

  19. Mentoring the teachers will be the first priority. Involve students council and teachers a part of decision making and planning various school activities. Conducts appraisals to know the strength and weakness of the staff, and work upon their weakness. conduct open forum with students to know about their problems.

It is very important to first understand the concept of school leadership and its growing need and the changes that are taking place ,you are not just a passive administrator to only look after the management requirement but you are a cord that joints the teachers , students and the parents and tries to implement new ways by which each one benefits and also grows. The teachers get enough freedom to express their talent and ideas , parents get easy assess to the school authorities and students are very comfortable and feel safe and secure in the school and enjoy the journey of learning. Therefore as a school head your are not just the leader to commands but a mentor who works with his team.

    Motivating talented students to form clubs to indulge in group discussions, writing blogs, peer mentoring, remedial classes, student council meetings regularly.
    Helping students and teachers by finding a positive way out of their problem encouraging everyone to do better. Keeping the happiness quotient high.

Effective school leaders apply their educational expertise and management skills in order to focus their efforts, and those of their teaching staff, on improving the quality of student learning outcomes. Part of this involves keeping up-to-date on the latest teaching technologies and trends. It also requires excellent interpersonal skills – as leaders work with students, staff, parents and external communities to gain constant feedback and find opportunities to innovate. School leaders need to have a solid grasp of operational best practices and an aptitude for enabling continuous development.

    Good leadership in schools helps to foster both a positive and motivating culture for staff and a high-quality experience for learners. Leaders at all levels in schools can contribute to this by developing the top skills needed by school leaders.

  47. The role of a school leader or teacher leader is not committed to the office or the position alone. It plays a key role in the overall working of the school and has major impact on the working of the system and its assets. The major asset of any school are it's students. The way leadership roles work will definitely impact the way the students respond to the teaching learning environment. It is important that the leader must at all times know the needs of every student and be able to cope up with the teaching-learning requirement of the students. The leaders must at all times keep themselves updated about the teacher-student relationship and work towards developing and enhancing this relationship by providing complete and continuous support through trainings, workshops etc. This will ensure that the impact the leaders have on the teachers or the students or vice versa will remain positive and constant.

It is important to create ownership among teachers about students learning, behavior and school development. It is necessary to use different strategies to involve gifted, mediocre and learners have difficulties in learning process.   58. Leaders play a significant role in identifying as well as supporting learning. Leadership works on shaping the teaching institution such as setting goals and structure, instructions to be followed, the number of students in each section, the forms of pedagogy among others. Needless to say, that these factors are responsible for the learning of students which are pre-set by leaders as part of their job.

Impromptu small talks, specific lectures, talks on significant topics, mass assembly address etc are ways to be connected with the students. A leader has to be omnipresent for his /her wards. Students should find them approachable & feel confident to share their fears or views.

  79. Interaction with all stakeholders at various levels to understand the effective implementation of teaching learning process across the classrooms. The learning gaps, need of remediation, teacher training etc. Analysis of the information gathered and gearing the goal oriented process to achieve the learning outcomes.
