ReplyDeletesnake and ladder activity for numeracy for preschoolers. Use of beads for teaching counting to 4 to 5 year olds.

Colouring of drawing books,use of abacus etc

For literacy we can give colleague work cutting letters from news papers.
ReplyDeleteFor numerical skill, can arrange a small fruits market at school where they can learn counting, identify shapes and colours.
For literacy development story telling ,singing rhymes, also provide opportunities to the learners to share their experience in the group will enhance knowledge .

For literacy development- alphabets in JUKE BOX..PICK an Alphabet and identify,For an ex: If Letter "A" HAS TO BE TAUGHT- introduce its sound/introduce new vocabulary atleast ffive to six words starts with A-Ant,Arrow,Air craft,Avacado,Apple,Apricot,,art work...finger print to form letter "A" using colours, writing on colour rangoli using fingers,,a recitation using the words introduced..

Numeracy- count the alphabet ,given in the picture ....Size (big/small)..concept. sorting the letter colured-colecting letter "A" of same colours...etc
