ReplyDeleteArt integrated learning can help in very creative and happy learning for students. For example in political science Making a cartoon strip, caricature, writing a slogan, poster making, poetry, blog can help the students to enjoy what they may otherwise find burdensome. Leaning through their favorite activity can be a stress buster and can make it a joyous experience.
ReplyDeleteArt in itself involves ones mind and soul. When students get involved in Art integrated work, it gives them immense sense of belongingness toward the subjects where they are using art in any form. They can express their work in any format rather than a mundane format that is written.

ReplyDeletesubject through the arts and with the arts ,it becomes a joyful experience which they will never forget.
In Primary and Pre-Primary Classes , Arts can be integrated in a lesson through skit , role play, mime ,story narration , puppetry ,singing etc.
Construct knowledge of themes, subjects and concepts and be aware of the inter-disciplinary connections. Develop a pluralistic approach and appreciate different possibilities. Promote teamwork and mutual appreciation. Enhance communication skills, language skills and problem solving skills.

ReplyDeleteArt Integrated Project based on learning and finding information about another state has been a wonderful experience for the children as they learnt to integrate their knowledge in academics and art. Making of brochures, maps, tables for data in English has enhanced their understanding in an experiential way.

ReplyDeleteArt integrated learning means a happy classroom. It caters to not just aesthetic aspects of a student but can bring about holistic development. It also can remedy the student's age old query- how can it be used in everyday life?
ReplyDeleteArt integration inculcates interest in learners and makes them feel and see the daily life usage of almost all subjects. Talking about mathematics when a student is asked to design a symmetrical table mat then a child keeps in mind the concept of symmetry /rotational symmetry also. A child/learner gets a chance to experience what goes in making a designer symmetrical mat.
