ReplyDeleteThe fragrance of wet earth coming over winds from far away made me tingle with anticipation for the beautiful rains. The rains start softly falling as gentle as a mother's caress. Then it slowly builds up to a crescendo and finally settles into a even tempo. Its like hearing a good piece of music, leaves you soothing, calm and tranquil.

ReplyDeleteHow happy we used to be ! I loved sitting near my bedroom window and reading stories from Champak and Nandan. I love the smell of wet mud when it starts to rain.
